Kelly the Dog needs a home
FOSTER UPDATE: Kelly's such a sweet little lady, we love having her. She's still shy and timid at first, but already she's begun asking to nap in our laps and is sitting near/touching us. She's still a little skiddish of loud city noises, but she's warming up to the idea of a collar around her neck. She stays very close and is very submissive on the leash, though she's still not entirely clear on what it is for. In the two days we've had her she's gotten great at letting us know when she needs to go out. She's not interested in garbage on the street or our people food - or even treats of any kind.
She loves exploring every inch of our private backyard, and she seems docile and curious around other dogs. She would never, ever, ever bark (ever!) or show any signs of aggression. Even when we clipped her nails, she never barred her teeth. She's all sweetness, no ego, and a very docile lady. I imagine she's an ideal dog for someone with young kids because she will never be aggressive - just sort of scoots away from them.

Super sweet Kelly is a 12-month old, 14 lbs., Manchester Terrier mix. Kelly came to us from a shelter in Miami and is in NYC foster care in search of a wonderful family...is it yours? Her Miami rescue team tells us that this precious puppy is lovable and scruffy...we absolutely adore her little white tipped paws and eager eyes...simply irresistible!! Kelly is up to date on all medical and spayed too.
